HAI SING ROAD
LANDED PROPERTY, 2600 SQFT
In this project, we sought to blur the lines between the indoors and outdoors. The key idea was to bring more green into the space and reclaim the utilitarian interstitial space between.
The backyard kitchen is a simple design statement that combines functionalism with aestheticism. A large white space with a connecting view of the greenery outdoor and bathed daylight is the perfect space to host cook-outs for the family.
In the living room, the TV console merges outside and forms an extended setting with the shoe rack - visually blurring the lines of the two zones while amplifying the space.
A simple project with a visually strong architectural language of blurred boundaries.
