Homes are constantly reinventing itself to cater to the needs of its occupants. Every now and then we receive requests to reconfigure a particular space because of an addition of a new member.

This new abode for two seeks to bring nature a little closer while maintaining its modernity. Tropical elements like woven rattan were stained to match the dark wooden furniture. The porosity of the rattan doors allows for light to pass through while giving one a sense of privacy.

Instead of tiles in the bathroom, we opted for the use of outdoor decking stained in the same dark colour to create more textures alluding to the great outdoors.
